History

The Lord’s Church and Christian Center (TLC3) was initially established with the State of Maryland in February 1995 by Archbishop Grant B. and Elect Lady Alberta Williams, Jr. Evangelism and missions work was at the forefront of TLC3, leading the church leadership and members to Haiti, the Bahamas, England, France, Benin, Guinea, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Botswana. Over the next 20 years, this ministry planted new churches within the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area, as well as other states and international locations visited during missions trips. In 2007 Archbishop Williams retired and with other ministers out of this ministry serving as pastors in other churches, TLC3 became inactive.

Then in 2016, the Lord spoke to Pastors Earl and Corren and gave them a vision for restoring TLC3. There was a burden on their hearts and God wanted them to rebuild. God directed them to write a letter to Archbishop and Elect Lady to share this vision and seek their approval. They carried this letter with them and then in July 2016, they unexpectedly attended a service where Archbishop and Elect Lady were present. The letter was given to Archbishop and a future meeting date was established. At this meeting, Archbishop gave his blessing for Earl to rebuild TLC3 and become the pastor. Although this blessing was received, God placed the actual reestablishment of the church on hold. He used the next four years to take Pastor Earl and Corren through various trials and tribulations to prepare, strengthen, and develop them for this undertaking. Through this period they grew immensely in faith, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

In the midst of the 2020 pandemic, God revealed ways they could touch the lives of others by inspiring hope and encouragement while upholding social distancing requirements. During this challenging time, Pastors Earl and Corren hosted virtual Sunday worship services from their home and led virtual home going services. It was in June 2020 that they began taking formal steps to reestablish this ministry.  TLC3 became incorporated by the State of Maryland in August 2020 and anticipates receiving a 501(c)3 determination letter in February 2022.
