Understanding God’s Love
God's love is DIFFERENT! It's Agape Love (unconditional). He sees us as who he created us to be, not as who we are in our sinful state. Despite what we've said or done, He chooses to love us and wants to forgive us. God is love.
Why do I need salvation?
“for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Our sin separates us from God. We cannot earn salvation on our own by trying to be better and do good works.
How does God provide salvation?
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
The precious blood of Christ is sufficient to cleanse mankind of all sin since Jesus was sent as the Lamb of God, a lamb without blemish or defect. He who was faultless, carried mankind’s sin in His body to the cross so that we can die to sin and live eternally with God.
How can I receive salvation?
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
By God’s love and grace, he gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and be raised from the dead so that those who believe in Him can receive everlasting life. He loves you and wants to save you from sin.

Prayer of Salvation
Dear Lord, I need you. I know that I am a sinner and I thank you for loving and accepting me as I am. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe that you died on the cross and that God raised you from the dead to save me. I know that I cannot save myself. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. You are now first in my life. Please take control of my life and help me to grow into the person you want me to be. Lead me in your ways and help me to live each day in a way that pleases you. Amen.
